What is KIMU?
KIMU designs and supplies bespoke food and drink collections for hotels and workplaces from minibars and welcome gifts to office kitchens and corporate hampers.
KIMU grew out of Hackney Essentials, our independent shop on Columbia Road in East London. It’s where we’ve spent years discovering food, drink and homeware, developing our eye for what makes a product worth sharing, and building lasting relationships with the makers behind them.
Who do you work with?
We work with hotels and workplaces to design bespoke ranges of food and drinks. If you’re looking to rethink what you offer guests or your team we can help build something that suits your brand and personality.
What can you provide?
For hotels, we can design a full minibar collection or a smaller edit, such as welcome drinks and snacks. For workspaces, we can provide a range for the office kitchen, meetings or corporate gifting.
Can you tailor the selection?
Yes! We get to know your space first: who stays or works there and what they might enjoy. We then bring together independent finds and familiar favourites, with the option to change the selection through the year.
How does it work?
We can arrange regular weekly or monthly orders, or work more flexibly depending on what you need. We’ll discuss the options with you and find an arrangement that works for your space.
